I received a birthday card from my BEST FRIEND who I've known since I was in FIFTH GRADE... on October 1st. People! My birthday is September 22nd!

And I am an evil, evil best friend for making such a point when she worked SO hard to not only remember my birthday, but to send the card on some precise date that it would get to me on my birthday... which she remembered as September 28th. Hmmm, at first I thought, "Gee, she doesn't know me very well anymore, huh?" But then I remembered: she's almost 40! Obviously, the real deal is that her memory is slipping. Ehhh, it had to happen sometime, right?

Nah, I'm just kiddin'. She's the sweetest, bestest best friend ever and I loved the card. Yes, Robert does look like a gangster in the glasses and the suit. Which I find ironic since I know him to be one of the mildest, calmest, nicest people ever (psst, don't tell him I said that or he'll be all trying to act bad). You guys look great.
